The Granite Rock No. 10 is a type 0-6-0ST steam locomotive built in 1942 by the H.K.Porter Co., a leading locomotive builder in Pittsburgh PA for 83 years between 1866 and 1950.Initially used by the US Army in Tracy, CA, the locomotive was acquired by the Granite Rock Company in 1947 for use in the Logan Quarry near Watsonville, CA. In 1988, the No. 10 was gifted to the California State Railroad Museum where it has undergone several restorations.
